Aruma is a Jaipur-based fashion and manufacturing brand founded by Shweta, blending Indian craftsmanship with contemporary fashion. The name “Aruma” is inspired by her parents’ names — “Aru” from Arun and “Ma” from Mamta — making it a heartfelt tribute to them while representing Shweta’s own dream and vision. Aruma focuses on block printing, handcrafted details, embroidery, design development, sampling and garment manufacturing, across women’s, men’s and kidswear. Aruma — rooted in heritage, created with a modern vision.

About Shweta Verma

Shweta is a fashion designer, brand owner and manufacturer owner with a background in NIFT B.Des. She has professional experience in fashion designing, merchandising, product development, sampling and garment manufacturing. Her design approach combines traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes, with a strong focus on block printing, embroidery, handwork, textile development and thoughtful garment design. Her journey bridges her roots in Kanpur and a deep connection with Jaipur's textile heritage.

Fabric will be provided by the client. One primary technique will be used (Embroidery, Adda Work, Block Printing, Dyeing, Screen Printing, or other discussed techniques).

Designed for startups, emerging brands and limited collections. Includes 25 garments with one selected primary technique. Fabric to be provided by the client.
