Momo's Story

Once, in a small village, there lived a poor little cat named Momo. She had no home and no family. Every day, she walked through the narrow streets looking for food. Her fur was dirty, and she was very thin because she often went to bed hungry.

One cold evening, Momo saw a small shop. The smell of warm bread came from inside. She quietly sat near the door and watched the shopkeeper. She was very hungry, but she did not steal anything. She simply waited, hoping someone would help her.

The shopkeeper noticed the poor cat sitting outside. He felt sorry for her and gave her a small piece of bread and some milk. Momo ate happily and looked at him with grateful eyes.

The next morning, Momo found a wallet lying on the road. She could not pick it up, but she stayed beside it until the shopkeeper came. He recognized the wallet as belonging to an old man from the village. When the old man arrived, he was surprised to find his wallet safe.

The old man was very thankful. He took Momo home and gave her food, a warm bed, and lots of love. From that day, Momo never had to sleep hungry or alone again.
