Tahmid Arefin Haque

His journey began in 2017 as a runway model, working with some of Bangladesh's established fashion and lifestyle brands, including Ecstasy, Aarong and Cats Eye. In 2019, he gained national recognition as the Third Runner-Up in Channel i's popular reality competition, Hero: Ke Hobe Masud Rana, marking an important milestone in his transition into mainstream entertainment. Since then, Tahmid has explored different dimensions of the entertainment industry, including modeling, acting, filmmaking and digital media. His screen credits include Dead End, Nishikabbo, Uniform and the 2026 feature film See the Person (Manushtike Dekho), directed by Gazi Rakayet, in which he plays a leading role.

Beyond acting, Tahmid has established himself in the media industry through his association with Channel One News. His work spans digital media, creative development, content strategy and podcast production. He has served as Assistant Manager (Digital) and taken creative leadership responsibilities for podcast initiatives, including The Honest Dialogue and The Next Chapter. As a podcast host, he is interested in bringing meaningful conversations, diverse perspectives and compelling personalities to audiences.

Academically, Tahmid studied at North South University, where his interests extended into English language education, communication and applied learning. He has also been involved in English language instruction and the development of the L.E.A.P. English method, an approach focused on making language acquisition more practical, engaging and accessible. His professional interests extend beyond entertainment and media into entrepreneurship, branding, marketing and business development. He is associated with several business initiatives, including Frontier International Ltd., Universal International RL-883, Sierra Properties Ltd. and HEAT Clothing. His entrepreneurial interests encompass international recruitment and global mobility, property, fashion, lifestyle branding and strategic business development.

As a creative thinker and aspiring writer, Tahmid explores subjects such as human behaviour, psychology, education, society, leadership, organizational behaviour, communication and personal development. He is particularly interested in questioning conventional systems, encouraging independent thinking and examining the ideas that shape individuals and society. His broader interests include filmmaking, cinema, photography, music, nature, travel, literature and meaningful human conversations. Driven by curiosity and a multidisciplinary outlook, Tahmid continues to pursue opportunities across entertainment, media and entrepreneurship. His long-term ambition is to build a body of work that connects creativity, business and ideas while contributing meaningfully to the evolving cultural and professional landscape of Bangladesh.
