TISS Mumbai Campus Walk Observations

Documenting the sounds, wildlife, and daily observations recorded across various locations during our campus walk at TISS Mumbai.

1. 1QuadObserved parakeet, plucking of leaves, laughter of the kids in class, clapping of hands, putting of the bottle on the table, rustle of leaves while walking on them, and walking on metal plate.
2. 2Behind the Staff QuarterObserved Asian koel, green warbler, common myna, purple-rumped sunbird, oriental magpie, staff talking in Marathi, child's cry, falling of water due to car washing, child shouting, falling of water from a tap for play, greenish warbler, yellow-browed warbler, common tailorbird, spotted dove, and purple sunbird.
3. 3PlaygroundObserved black kite, purple sunbird, rumble of truck engine and horns of traffic, metro passing, and murmur of car and bike engines.
4. 4Near the Guest HouseObserved walking on the tile, walking on the mat, walking on the metal railing, garbage bag rustle, rustle of broom, pouring liquid on floor, flushing of toilet, and pale-billed flowerpecker.
5. 5Near VC BungalowObserved buzzing of bees, crow dropping a chicken piece, water leaking from motor, rustling of hands, rustling of papers, AC generator sound, fan sound, red-vented bulbul, and robin.
6. 6Badminton CourtObserved purr of cat, drill, hammering of metals, wood, giggles of people, dry leaf crashing down, common myna, crow, rat, rustle of leaves, auto sound, rumble of the engine, aeroplane, green warbler, motion of metro, the cutter cutting metal, crushing at the construction site, someone was whistling, hammering, drilling, rustle of leaf while walking, someone walking in boots, phone ringtone, water dripping from the tap, dog bark, and white-throated kingfisher.
