Milo and the Little Star
The Little Rabbit
Milo was a little white rabbit who lived near a quiet forest. Every night, he loved looking at the stars. “Good night, little stars!” Milo would say. But one night, he saw something strange. One tiny star was falling from the sky.
A Tiny Glow
WHOOSH! The little star landed softly beside Milo. It was glowing, but its light was very weak. “Are you okay?” Milo asked. The little star trembled. “I’m lost,” it whispered. Milo knew he had to help.
Into the Forest
Milo carried the little star carefully. “Don’t worry,” he said. “We’ll find your way home.” Together, they walked through the forest. They crossed a small bridge. They passed tall trees. But the sky still seemed very far away.
The Dark Path
Suddenly, the forest became dark. Milo felt scared. “I don’t know the way,” he whispered. The little star noticed Milo shaking. “You’re scared too?” Milo nodded. “But I promised to help you.” So they continued walking.
The Owl’s Advice
They met an old owl sitting on a tree. “Whooo are you looking for?” asked the owl. “We’re trying to get the little star back into the sky,” Milo explained. The owl smiled. “Follow the highest hill. From there, you can see the whole forest.” “Thank you!” Milo said.
The Highest Hill
Milo and the little star climbed higher and higher. Milo was tired. His little legs were shaking. But he did not give up. Finally, they reached the top. Milo looked up. There were thousands of stars shining above them.
A Bright Idea
The little star suddenly became brighter. “I remember!” it cried. “My home is beside the biggest star!” Milo smiled. “But how will you get back?” The little star pointed at Milo. “You helped me find the way.”
Up, Up, Up!
The little star began to float. Higher… Higher… And higher! “Thank you, Milo!” it called. Milo waved goodbye. “Shine bright!”
A Special Surprise
That night, Milo looked up at the sky. The little star was shining brighter than ever. Then it blinked three times. Twinkle! Twinkle! Twinkle! Milo smiled. He knew the little star was saying: “Thank you.”
The Lesson
From that day on, Milo remembered something important: You don't have to be big to make a big difference. Sometimes, a small act of kindness can brighten someone's whole world.
