Flagship Innovation — FreshSense™ Biodegradable ARA™ Packaging
FreshSense™ is a smart biodegradable packaging technology designed for fresh fruits and vegetables, combining active antimicrobial protection, shelf-life extension and a visible colour-based freshness indication. The technology is supported by three Indian patent applications, two trademark filings and a PCT filing in process. Laboratory validation has demonstrated antimicrobial protection and shelf-life extension in artificially contaminated samples, with pilot-scale validation and commercialization as the next development stage.
