Types of Learning Difficulties

  1. 11. Reading DifficultyDifficulty in reading and understanding written text. Examples: Reads slowly, skips words or lines, difficulty in sounding words, poor understanding of what is read.
  2. 22. Writing DifficultyDifficulty in writing legibly and expressing thoughts. Examples: Poor handwriting, spelling mistakes, difficulty in sentence formation, trouble in organizing written ideas.
  3. 33. Mathematics DifficultyDifficulty in understanding numbers, calculations and mathematical concepts. Examples: Difficulty in counting, trouble in place value, difficulty in basic operations, confusion with symbols.
  4. 44. Attention and Concentration DifficultyDifficulty in focusing on tasks for a longer time. Examples: Easily distracted, forget instructions, unable to complete tasks, daydreams frequently.
